Nicholas Doerksen, son of Rev. Allen and Rev. Denise, is in Zambia as a volunteer teacher for several months. This initiative is a long time in the making and is made possible by the Christian organization MCC ( Mennonite Central Committee). For all such ventures support is needed, and for any of those who would wish to hear more about what Nick will be doing in Zambia, ask his parents. He made a presentation Sunday, June 13th. He left the country for Zambia in mid August.

Allen gave an outline of some of the bigger issues up for discussion and there was time for questions and discussion. 14 parishioners attended.
