St. Aidan Anglican Church is the local parish of the Anglican Church of Canada. It was formed in 2003 by amalgamating four congregations into one new parish in one building. The building we eventually selected is the former St. John's Anglican Church, located in downtown Moose Jaw, beside the bus depot at High St. and 1st Ave. East. The cornerstone was laid in 1909.

But our church is so much more than our building. The building is only the place where we meet, nothing more. We are a busy, dynamic, friendly community of Christians on a journey of growth and development. We care about each other, we live our faith, and we fulfill our responsibility to the wider church and the community. We practice and teach the Anglican Baptismal Covenant, found on page 158 of our Book of Alternative Services, our main prayer book. It contains the Apostle's Creed and five directives: 1) to continue in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, the breaking of bread, and the prayers; 2) to persevere in resisting evil and, whenever we fall into sin, repent and return to the Lord; 3) to proclaim by word and example the good news of God in Christ; 4) to seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbor as ourselves; 5) to strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being.

What a challenge! We invite you to come learn and live it with us. We welcome new members and we welcome guests. Service times are on the left. For more information, please phone or e-mail. We'd love to hear from you! Look around the website; you'll find lots of good information here.
